The project takes its starting point from women who worked in a sewing factory in Sjuhäradsbygden outside Borås, during the 1960s and 1970s. It tells the story of how these women organized themselves by starting a workplace football team called Öxabäck IF. 1968 was the year that the first official women's football league was started, thanks to the persistent work of Öxabäcks IF and pressure on the Swedish Football Association. At the factory, they sowed their own shorts to play in and took the shirts to the matches on installments. Through the factory, the team was also able to recruit new players from south-western Sweden. The work Öxabäck IF - utan er ingen morgondag touches on the impact of the women's team Öxabäck IF on Swedish women's football, while reactivating a text On banners and banner making (1909) by the British suffragette and craftswoman Mary Lowndes (1856-1929).
