Twin stars are the result of a residency by Region Västmanland in the summer of 2021. The reidency took place in Hönsgärdet outside Norberg in the middle of Sweden. It has been presented as a lecture performance in Örbro 2021, and in a symposium at Gathenhielmska huset in Gothenburg in 2022. 

From the program from Konstdygnet 2021: “A lecture performance by Åsa Dybwad Norman that presents the process and the result of her residence from Hönsgärdet outside Norberg in Västmanland. Out of one renovation of a house on the family plot emerges stories and events that goes beyond one's own family's history, and can be put in relation to feminist and queer organization. Through a multi-material installation, Norman investigates how one can relate to one's roots by revisiting events and places and formulate a future.”
